Throttle, yaw, pitch and roll are the language of flight. Start with the axes, then learn to coordinate them.

The four axes do different jobs, but they rarely act alone in flight. Pitch and roll redirect thrust; yaw changes where the nose points; throttle manages lift. Read the axis guide first, then compare stick layouts and practice a wide figure eight at one speed before making it tighter.
