A fleet with defined physical parameters

Drone Horizon's current aircraft catalogue contains four named simulator designs. Each has its own mass, motor layout, inertia and thrust-related configuration. The visual frame and selected aircraft are connected to the flight model, rather than acting only as interchangeable skins.

Aircraft Role Configured mass
H5 Strata 5-inch freestyle 0.64 kg
H5 Apex 5-inch racing 0.54 kg
C25 Orbit 2.5-inch cinewhoop 0.28 kg
L7 Nomad 7-inch long-range 1.08 kg

These are fictional simulator specifications verified from the catalogue. They are not measurements of similarly named commercial products or a promise of exact real-aircraft handling.

Compare a controlled task

Keep the rate model, stick layout, view and conditions unchanged. Fly a short acceleration-and-stop exercise with one aircraft, then repeat with another. Notice the trajectory and the effort needed to establish and remove a bank.

Mass alone does not explain every difference. Motor authority, lever geometry, inertia and battery behavior also contribute. A lighter aircraft is not automatically easier for every beginner task, and a “long-range” role does not mean permission to fly beyond real-world limits.

Cosmetic customization is a separate choice

The pilot profile includes paint, propeller color, LED and antenna choices alongside aircraft selection. These support a personal visual configuration. The source does not justify advertising an unrestricted parts marketplace, a public aircraft editor or the ability to reproduce every real build.

Keep appearance and physical tuning conceptually separate when comparing flight response. Changing an airframe and several response settings at once prevents a clean comparison.

Choose an environment that reveals the difference

A wide route helps you observe acceleration and braking without repeated collisions. A generous gate pair can reveal entry and exit consistency. A tight indoor route is a later test of proximity control, not the easiest way to diagnose an unfamiliar aircraft.

Use the maps guide to select an appropriate setting and physics fundamentals to understand what you are comparing. For a more detailed look, telemetry and blackbox expose actual rates, motor response and battery state.

The fleet is part of a simulator still preparing its public release. A source-defined airframe is a verified development feature; platform performance and physical-controller acceptance remain separate checks.
